First of all, much thanks to Best Week Ever for the love - they mentioned MMM in Monday’s entry! Go here to see the actual post. It was quite the shocker to wake up this morning and see the hits. Thanks and welcome to all of you BWE readers that are visiting me.

My other 15 nanoseconds of microfame came a few days ago from Mike Doughty (ex-Soul Coughing frontman). I had written him a curmudgeonly email asking him to please change the photos on his blog. Mike used to post relevant pictures to go along with his postings, but after giving his camera away while on a trip to Eritrea, now all we get are hundreds of pictures of Eritrea (where the hell is Eritrea anyway?) Anyhow, to his credit he was totally cordial in his email response back to me, and then blogged about my email! Unfortunately I don’t think it was enough to get him to change the pics. And I can’t believe that I am the only person who has complained. I need a t-shirt that says, “IT’S BECAUSE I CARE”.

Finally, just have to share that I’m stuck in Tukwila, WA. I’m here all week for work, thought it would be fun to take the train up here, and now am stuck. I’ve walked miles in every direction and all I can find is a mall and a bunch of crappy chain restaurants. It feels like I could be anywhere. Makes me wish I had stayed next door in the happening town of Seatac — at least that place has a song written about it. !Viva Seatac!
