News about Dan Bern’s new studio release leaked today, via Jambase.

The album is to be called “Breathe”, it will see release on September 19th.

With the help of longtime producer Chuck Plotkin (Bruce Springsteen, among others), and a bit of selflessness, Dan disappears into these song-sized narratives and allows his characters to voice their own - and, by extension, our shared - lives.

Okay, so what about that EP?? And what’s up with the new Hell’s Angels look?

And speaking of new looks, I’ll leave you with an interesting version of Dan’s recent classic “Crossroads”. I’m hoping this song (but maybe not this arrangement) makes it onto new album “Breathe”.
