Finally out today:

Official news on the Messenger Records website about Dan Bern album “Breathe”, still due out September 19th. You can also download two tracks from the album at the Messenger site — the title track, and “Trudy” (which we all used to call “Christian New Year”, way hella back like in January or somethin.)

Update: I’ve spent a few hours with these two songs today. I really like what Chuck Plotkin and Dan have done here. The songs were already great — the arrangements have made them better. When you’ve got a choir behind you (check out “Breathe”), you know you’ve moved up a notch on the folksinger ladder. Kudos!
