In other Lara Michell news, there is a new Dirty Martini album (”Tea And Revenge”) due out any minute. In a genius Portland-style marketing move, there are two release parties: an Eastside one September 29th at the Bagdad Theater and a Westside one on the 30th at the Mission Theater. (for the uninitiated, Portland’s Willamette River divides the city into east and west halves).

My good friend Todd Bayles plays on the album. Can’t wait to hear it.
