Regina Spektor Covered By A Busker
Hello - I’m blogging at you from the Chicago Airport, returning home from a work trip to Ottawa, Canada. The trip was really fun — my wife and I flew out a few days early, spending a day in Ottawa, and a couple more in Montreal, Quebec.
During our day in Ottawa, we were walking around the Byward Market, when I heard a street musician playing a song that I recognized but couldn’t quite place. I realized what it was in time to snap at least a few minutes of video:
Regina Spektor’s “Us”!
After being subjected to John Denver and Bob Dylan from other performers along the square, this sounded so different and fresh. I told this young lady that Regina would be flattered and she responded, “I am a fan.”
