Last Post Of The Year: Radio

2007 is done, and I want to thank all of you who visited, read, downloaded and commented at mmm this year. Much appreciated.
Before I close the book on ‘07, I wanted to share with you two BBC radio sessions that kept me company off and on during the year. They are from two of my very favorite artists, Laura Veirs and Robyn Hitchcock. The Laura Veirs session, hosted by Mark Radcliffe, is particularly good. Mark Radcliffe is one of my favorite radio interviewers/hosts of all time and he and Laura have a candid chat about the economics of touring, life in Portland Oregon, and Argentine folktronic songwriter Juana Molina.

I love the idea of looking in the rear-view mirror. So simple, and so effective. GENIUS!

Thanks for posting the Laura Veirs radio session! I was astonished that I liked these tracks without any odd handclapping and extraordinary drumming rhythm so much!
